Knotty Girls Dyeing for Color Retreat!
Yarn dying with acid dyes is so easy! Let Ann show you how to turn plain into WOW! Choices for color pallets are unlimited when you dye your own yarns. Basic review of color theory, dyeing techniques, tips & tricks will be covered in this seminar. Additionally, we’ll get started on our Easy Lace Scarf/Shawl project using our just dyed yarns! All knitters will have fun and learn something new – Beginners to Advanced.

Arrive Friday afternoon at Retreat House in Rockport, Tx. Meet & Greet at 6 pm then relax during dinner at 7:30pm. Playtime with Crayon Colors lecture at 9 pm followed by the evening movie. Popcorn & coke floats. Knit, Knit, Knit.

Saturday starts off with breakfast 8-9 am followed by Dying for Color seminar 9:30 – 3ish. Lunch at noonish. Late afternoon can be spent touring Rockport’s many Art and Craft Galleries. Dinner is on your own. (We will have lots of suggestions for dining choices.)
8-9 pm will be a review of the days dying and examination of dyed yarns. Evening movie begins at 9 pm. Knit, Knit, Knit.

Sunday morning breakfast 8-9 am. Simple Color Corrections & Easy Lace Knitting session using our dyed yarns 10-12 pm. Lunch and fond farewells.
